Each brew class consists of two parts - Brew and Bottling. In the brew class we will provide all the equipment, supplies, and knowledge you will need to make 2.5 gallons of beer. The night includes a meal, selections of our own craft beer, and samples of the beer we are making. Two weeks after the Brew class, you return for the Bottling class and learn how to put your beer into bottles. The class has everything you need, and also a meal and beers to enjoy while learning. We'll be working on a Stout to be ready to enjoy by the end of March We'll meet twice, 3/04 AND 3/18. The price includes both sessions, all equipment, ingredients, a heavy snack for each session, and a pint of previously in house brewed beer. The beer will be ready to drink two weeks or so after bottling. Please review and complete the waivers included below to complete your registration.
03/04- Fundamentals of beer brewing - we will steep grains, boil the wort, add hops, and pitch the yeast into brewing buckets to set up a ferment. We will be following a recipe for a Guinness style dry stout. The brew will be left to ferment, on our premises for two weeks.
03/18 - Once fermentation is finished, it's time for bottling! You'll learn the whole process, enjoy another made-from scratch dinner, another pint of our in house brewed beer, and take home 12 -12oz bottles, of your beer with your custom label!! .
Leave them to settle in the bottle for the next 2 weeks and have your very own brew ready to enjoy!
If you'd like to bring some help, have a Guest join you! The beer is yours, but your guest can also enjoy the class, the beers and the yummy snacks. (At least One paid "Brewer" Ticket is required per group. "Guest" tickets also includes both sessions.
